About Me

Hello! I am Lindsey, your local photographer and licensed healthcare social worker! I live in rural South Dakota with my handsome husband and three wonderful boys. When I'm not working or chasing my children around, I love to spend time taking and editing pictures for all you lovely people.

My journey into photography was an unintentional but life-giving development for me. I always enjoyed pictures and was so excited to buy my first camera as a young teenager with hopes of capturing life's adventures on film. After graduating from college with a social work degree, I used my first tax refund to buy a "real" camera so I could capture frame-worthy shots of my travels, friends and family. People began to ask me if I would take pictures for them and before I knew it, I was getting paid to photograph all the special moments in peoples' lives!

I truly love to be behind the camera and am honored to interact with people through photography. The social worker in me loves to get to know people and hear their stories. I believe that at some point in your life, everyone should have their picture taken; one that you or your loved ones can frame, or perhaps just set as a wallpaper on your phone. I know firsthand that not everyone has the budget to afford professional photos, which is why I offer a sliding scale when it comes to pricing.
